Former Levi's exec Jennifer Sey says there's 'no way out' for Bud Light from its woke troubles

"These companies have taken these stances to curry favor with consumers. And what they've learned very quickly is there's a large portion of consumers that are saying, 'Yeah, no. I don't believe in that. I'm gonna take my business elsewhere.'"

Last week, a study from the CDC found there was a 17% spike in diagnosed developmental disabilities between 2019 and 2021 including autism, dyslexia and ADHD. Sey was not surprised to say the least.
Ever since her forced resignation, Sey had been outspoken against woke corporations, authoring the memoir "Levi's Unbuttoned: The Woke Mob Took My Job but Gave Me My Voice."

It's always been about choice. I still like their beer, but with all the choices out there I don't have to buy their beer. It isn't just the "Cause" that they supported, it's that I have the power to support companies that aren't trying to be activists that have really good beers as well.
Bud Light having the largest foothold in the coolers always was the draw. Grab a 30pack and be good for the weekend. But that has changed and it actually may get me to stop drinking beer altogether. If I do continue to buy beer it will be a beer that doesn't disrespect the consumer. Without us, they are nothing and they need to figure that out fast.
