David Icke is a conspiracy theorist, and he is among the best of them. Why? Because, to be believable, a conspiracy theory must be plausible and none sound more plausible than this. Indeed, it sounds even more plausible today than it did when I dismissed it in 1994. Today, I'm not so quick to dismiss it...

I hear a lot of people complaining about the media, but I don't hear a lot of people making suggestions about how to fix it. Why is that?
So the guy is complaining about the Capitalist media ("fawn at the feet of Mammon") and believes they are all in league to cause or attribute a crisis for the purpose of establishing a centralized government... that is not Capitalist?
And make no mistake, news media being a business with a profit motive gets us to where we are now.
