I'm sure he sees it differently. Yes, he may be found guilty because as it turns out the law also applies to them, not just the people they don't like. Trump's best hope is to get one of his faithful on the jury who won't convict him, no matter what.

I don't think Trump will be found guilty, other than being guilty of being a moron. I'm not a Trump fan, but I can't see that the judicial process would be stupid enough to convict a former President. He messed up, but that's because he isn't the brightest bulb in the pack. Biden has done exactly the same thing with the documents in random places and he's still in office. If he is convicted, it will prove the 2 tiered justice system isn't a conspiracy theory and there will be some major retribution.
