New Mexico allows the open carry of loaded firearms without a permit.
As more states go this way, I expect more such incidents. Looks like we are back in the Wild West except back then many cities and towns prohibited the carrying of firearms.

MSG Stan Hutchison - You SAY you are a gun owner. You SAY you used to have an FFL. You SAY lots of things, none of which I have argued with you about, but you claim I am wrong, so back up your claim or shut the fuck up, asshole!

MSG Thomas Currie - I said I used to have an FFL. I turned it in as required when I sold my business in 2004.
Actually, I do not care one way or the other if you believe me or not.

Since I am the one that made the Wild West comment, I figured you were addressing me. I should have been more specific. I meant you were wrong when you said "Your "Wild West" nonsense is the standard claim of those who want everyone else disarmed" I made the statement and I have no desire to see everyone disarmed. I fully support the right to own firearms by responsible people.

By the way, do you eat with that mouth? (posting is the same as saying, IMO)

MSG Thomas Currie - So, when Faux News refers to an increase of roughly the same percentage (roughly two-thirds) in carjackings in DC as "skyrocketed", they're wrong as well, right?

Let's be consistent here. Either DC carjackings increasing by roughly two-thirds and Texas shootings increasing by roughly two-thirds are both a skyrocketing of crime rates, or they aren't and it's all just a bunch of fear-mongering.

PO3 Justin Bowen - IF they both increased as you claim then "skyrocket" wouldn't be unreasonable, but the difference is that one happened and the other did not.

The man with the gun was looking for trouble. One of those kids that have a gun and is just looking for a reason to use it.
