Austal USA, as a subcontractor to HII’s Newport News Shipbuilding division, has started construction on the aluminum aircraft elevators for two U.S. Navy Ford-class aircraft carriers, Enterprise (CVN 80) and Doris Miller (CVN 81).

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel Something’s really don’t last forever and need to be replaced by the most modern technology we have, and by experts on design and function. hopefully this redesign will help some of the issues aboard a ship.
