Luna, 14, and their family say they have no other option than to leave Texas.

Ill Informed, Luna's opinion is they want them out or dead. No one wants her/him dead, they are trying to look out for their own future.
Sweden has been doing gender reassignments much longer than the US and they are starting to cut them back and warn people that these gender modification procedures are not as safe as originally thought plus a large number of people who have transitioned have grown to regret it.
Counseling is the key and a lot of it.
