Chinese warship comes within yards of US destroyer in latest act of aggression in Taiwan Strait

In July of 2020, I went on a sister ship of ship mentioned in this article. The USS Momsen (DDG- 92) had an official VIP tour reserved for me and a few U.S. Army Reserve Officers. We were at Everett Navy base in Washington State.

This is a very capable Arleigh-Burke Class destroyer as seen in the movie Battleship.

When in a bad peace, prepare for war and not climate change because a limited nuclear war with China will result in 20 years of cooler weather anyway so why not put the money into restocking our ammunition that we gave to Ukraine?

We also need to plus up on ordnance that we will need for the US Navy because the US Navy said they will be out of heavy munitions after one week of fighting with a near-peer adversay.

It is interesting that a Canadian Navy ship's crew also witnessed this Chinese aggression in the South China Sea.

China already rams the ships of the Philippine Navy and its civilian fishing fleet and other smaller countries already because they have some Coast Guard vessels that have a reinforced bows to cause the other ship to be 'shouldered' and pushed aside. The Chinese Navy knows not to do this with us but with President being so weak and spineless, I would not be surprised that Chinese will start 'shouldering' our ships.

Instead of putting more money toward defense doing this, the demented Biden government wants to put $360 billion toward bribing other countries to switch over to Chinese Green clean energy or bribing other countries to turn away from coal or natural gas ( this money has been allocated in the fraudulent Inflation Reduction Act passed by Democrats) and President Biden wants to forgive hundreds of billions of dollars in college loans for those people who already have Master's degrees and Phds but he won't do the common sense thing and not focus on social justice but on our defense instead. He cares more about illegal aliens and winning votes of the young College age voters than he does about caring about American citizens and our Mutual Defense.
