I Don't "Celebrate" Memorial Day.
To Me The Word Means "To Be Happy About Something"
I Find No Happiness I Recalling The Deaths Of Our Combat Soldiers,
Or The Others Serving In Those Zones. I Spend The Day Remembering
The Ones We've Lost And A Good Friend Of Mine, Thomas "Tom" W. Croff.
Tom Served With The 101st' Airborne, Combat Infantry Division
He Did two Tours Of Vietnam, But Paid The Price By Returning With A Purple ,
Accompanied By A Cluster. That Was In The Early 70's & He Still Has Issues With P.T.S.D. .......I Met Tom In Our 7th Grade Homeroom Of "Ole Lady The-Bitch Waddell", And Have Been Friends Ever Sense.
