Over the past 50 years, one-third of North America's birds have disappeared. That's according to a 2019 study that showed almost every species is affected, due to habitat loss, climate change and other human causes.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel My guess is most of the bird decline is due to habitat loss.

Cpl Vic Burk One of the Perks of My Current Gig is the Bird Watching. Pair of Red Tail Hawks, Cardinals, Morning Doves, Plenty of Chickadees, Grackles, a Bald Eagle and 6 Turkey Vultures.

Second would probably be Wind Turbines. They kill a lot of birds.
