'The poorest European countries are sliding into a war economy'

Poland and most former Warsaw Pact countries facing Russia are spending 2% of their gross domestic product or more for defense.

Remember that European countries were upset that former President Trump was scolding them for not paying their fair share? The agreed upon voluntary Fair share was 2% of their gross domestic product. Former president Trump called out countries like Germany and Canada who haven't put their 2% of GDP but they are one of the richest of the NATO countries while the poorest ones somehow managed to find the funding to meet or exceed that goal.

Western media was accusing President Trump of being a Russian asset because of the Hillary Clinton Steele Dossier paid for by the DNC. The DNC recently paid $110,000 fine but nobody at the DNC went to prison for this lie which was used for the President Trump impeachments as well. Maybe Alvin Bragg should go after those in the DNC like Hillary Clinton who paid for a spy to lie to the FBI for the fake FISA warrants that were attained with false testimony.

When President Biden showed up in 2021, he said 'we're back' (basically telling his European allies don't worry about the arrears they had inventing their defense decay again and it won't be blunt like president Trump was and Joe Biden will be nice like Mr Rogers on Mr Rogers Neighborhood on PBS). The European lack of sense of urgency to pay 2% of GDP toward defense came again to bite them in the butt in the last year. Now it's too late.

President Biden may be there physically but you know his mind is not there all the time and definitely his toughness is not there.

Remember, he didn't allow Ukraine armored soldiers to train until 6 months or so after the war started. President Biden didn't put sanctions on Russia until after the second invasion of Ukraine. When in a bad peace, prepare for war and forget about climate change which some refer to as the 'climate emergency.' LOL

A limited nuclear war could take away all that effort which makes no difference considering China's building a Coal Fired power plant each week to offset any American or european reduction in carbon footprints.

The inflation reduction act had a fraudulent ( hidden orwellian provision) of over $360 billion That was supposed to be used to bribe other countries to change over to Green energy from Hardware made in China from electricity made from coal fired power plants. It's really sad that this $360 to $1 trillion dollars depending on the estimates you hear recently could have been used to improve our defense and not put 24 ships in the reserve Fleet because we can't maintain them.

I know the Air Force generals despise the A-10 Warthog. 21 of them are being put into storage and I believe they should be given to Taiwan and we should put an extra two squadrons in the European theater in places like England and Poland just in case the Polish A-10s are destroyed on the ground by Russia. We can always lease these planes to our European allies in case our jealous Air Force General is still want anything to do with this indispensable platform. Senator Martha McSally and John McCain are not there anymore to defend this platform. It may be obsolete but it can take a lot of damage that the F-35 can handle. Also, the F-35 doesn't have the loitering time, can't fly in bad weather and can't take any punishment from ground fire. I know we may already have existing units in the European theater but I know the jealous US Air Force generals want to get rid of them eventually.
