Transgender residents are leaving Missouri to escape a 'horrifying' loss of health care rights

An emergency order by Attorney General Andrew Bailey, which is scheduled to go into effect Thursday, will stop many patients from receiving gender-affirming care. Some LGBTQ Missourians say they need to move away from their home state in order to safeguard their access to medicine.
Sera Hart-Smith and her partner Kyle Kiera Hart are packing their belongings to leave Missouri before Hart-Smith runs out of her supply of estrogen.
Hart-Smith has been taking estrogen since she was 19, and the couple is afraid state leaders may take that access away and push her back into the depression that she felt before medically transitioning.
“Once my body was functioning on estrogen instead of testosterone, I got so much better,” Hart-Smith said. “So the idea of that being taken away or having to go back into the pit that I lived in for the first 19 years is horrifying.”

So the 19 year old in the article is not affected by the new policy. Seems this person is scared of something that is not happening. Wonder where they get their news?

Well Missouri is doing just that and other states deny medicaid coverage. States are working on bills to stop all care.

Doctors willtreat ADULT TRANSGENDER by the bilogical sex they have...When someoen comes in with a penis and says I am a woman medically they have to treat that individual as a male. If this is about kids then well parents...BYE!

I think some hateful, bigoted people who comment on these things don't understand that cisgender children (those who identify by the sex assigned at birth) receive the same types of care that transgender kids get for gender affirming care. Kids with precocious puberty take puberty blockers and have for years and no one cared. But when trans kids start to do it, then it's an issue.
Everyone of these anti-trans bills is filled with nothing but hate, bigotry and prejudice. That's all it is.
