My comment: "Germany has a couple of decades working on their green energy plan. At year-end 2006 it cost 19.46 per kWh per hour and at the end of 2022, it was 40.07 per kWh per hour. The clean energy sector has reported prices at the retail level have increased by 800% since the inception of the program.
Germany's Air Quality Index (AQI) is placed 25th while the US is placed 24th.
Based on 3,500kWh per year [Source: German Association of Energy and Water Industries (BDEW) ] The Air Quality Index (AQI) is on average or good and is rated in 25th place. The US is rated 24th out of 180 countries on the Environmental Performance Index. Sweden is rated the best at number one. The primary reason was the introduction of the Cabon Tax in 1995.
Sweden rated the best - Sweden has had one of the highest usages of biofuel in Europe and aims at prohibiting new sales of fossil cars, including hybrid cars, by 2035, and for an energy supply system with zero net atmospheric greenhouse gas emissions by 2045. 54% of Sweden's power comes from renewables and this energy is increasingly local. (Hydropower, Windmill & Solar) It's important to note that Sweden's geographical area is 4.58% the size of the United States with 326.9 million people fewer than the US. However, with the current immigration policy by the administration, the difference is growing daily."

Coal fired power plants are a vanishing species because of democrats' anti-energy sector policies. Once again, the democrats have failed to learn from history. The Constitution, vast natural resources and a capitalist free enterprise system ARE the reason for the U.S. meteoric rise to the top of the heap. Meanwhile the democrats seek to nullify the Constitution through over regulation, retard the harvest of natural resources and move us toward their socialist utopian hell.

A lot of the reason for the reduction in CO2 emissions in the US is the switch to Combined Cycle Natural Gas Generation. The plants don't require the emission control of coal or fuel oil, they are easier to use during peak production periods and we have a lot of Natural Gas (unless Biden sells it all to Europe).
