It appears that we have made way too many promises to way too many people. And now, since we are busy handing out benefits to millions of non-citizens who are here illegally, there is even less chance of keeping our promises to our veterans. I'm not complaining about me, but there are a lot of injured folks who should be getting more care. Printing fiat money like there's no tomorrow is NOT the way to fix budget shortfalls.
