House Republicans approved a prohibition on gender-affirming health care for transgender minors, but without a grandfather clause or sunset provision that were key to the bill clearing the Senate. One Democratic lawmaker said she has a transgender grandson who may not be able to live in Missouri if the bill becomes law.
Differences between the House and Senate on how strict a ban on certain transgender health care should be could spell trouble for the proposals chances as the Missouri legislative session nears completion.
Leaders in both chambers told reporters Thursday they are pushing for their respective body’s legislation.

The only thing that gives me hope is that the old conservative vote is dying out. The younger generations are waking up and starting to vote. We will vote these clowns out of office.

Children don’t possess those rights. Children can not legally sign contracts, get tattoos, drink alcohol etc.

Capt Gregory Prickett - They aren’t being denied treatment. They can ask for exemption from the law. Sweden, hardly a bastion of conservative Christian thinking, stopped most childhood transition treatments. They found various mental conditions lead to gender dysphoria and the children involved aren’t trans at all. A state defending its self can use there research. The compelling government interest is to protect children from harm.
