What to know about Juan Merchan, the judge overseeing Trump's criminal case

The story should read this is the first time an opposing party DA publicly admitted he was going after a former president and a current opposing party Presidential candidate because he’s weak on real crime. There has been several opportunities opposing party AG’s could have pursued charges against a president however, they just chose not to, example “Operation fast and furious, selling illegal arms to the Mexican drug cartel that got a U.S. Border patrol agent killed with one of this illegally sold guns. Bush 43 using very shaky intell to start a war, “Weapons of Mass Destruction” I was there, and there were none however we all know there were at one time, ask the Kurds snd Iranians. The difference is this is politically motivated and has the AG has opening admitted during his re-election campaign. He promised he was going to get Donald Trump even after the many failed attempts the DOJ was smart decided they weren’t going to pursue similar charges because it would have looked political. I’m not attempting to stir the pot here, I’m more concerned about fair and equal Justice being applied regardless of party affiliation and this is not fair. Now, no one has to agree with me and I don’t expect some will and that’s okay but, as a leader of Marines I NEVER lead Marines or soldiers differently, I lead them the same way so they all knew the rules. My question is,,isn’t it time people move on from this pettiness, especially from these elected politicians (all parties) spending more time on personal attacks, witch hunts and paybacks because their feelings were hurt. All I know is this is ridiculous all fighting going on with each other because the politicians are winning. All this political fighting is achieving is a distraction and it’s dividing us by race, religion, ethnicity and especially for something as petty as political affiliation/differences. The only thing they/we are achieving is destroying this country’s ability to do what we as Veterans and these politicians swore to do above all else and that’s to protect and defend this country and our constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic and frankly these politicians are failing America miserably. Also let me clear my friends, I will never attack a person personally for their differing opinion. In saying that, I will also not let their opinions be the only opinion expressed, regardless of personal opinion. It is healthy to debate but at the end of the day the only opinion that counts is the American peoples opinions because, they have the right to vote. I think as leaders we can handle four years and if change is required let these politicians prove to us who’s the best to lead OUR country. If I offended anyone that’s not my intent, we can disagree without personal attacks on each other but, we sure can express our differences and concerns about these elected politicians and their personal policies and preferences thats why we have three branches of Government, to make sure the American people understand the rules of the game and that’s clearly defined in our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Its time congress takes back some of this unconstitutional power they have given/turned over to the executive branch simply because, their to lazy and don’t want to be held accountable when their policies fail, it gives them political cover and they can simply point fingers back and forth and never be held accountable. I hope we can move forward and respect each others differences as we once did on active duty and to ensure troop welfare and mission accomplished.
