Well it's like I have said in the past, the Russians or should I say their version of the pentagon, doesn't care how many people are killed or how many tanks are lost as long as the mission is accomplished. They wouldn't blink twice at putting 10 or more T-54/55's up against one Ukrainian tank, as long as the Ukrainian tank is taken out. They wouldn't care if all but 4-5 tanks are destroyed. What worries me is if Putin thinks his back is up against the wall, and starts popping of nukes. I only hope that before that some of the Generals gets enough support behind them and either takes him out or arrests him and turn him over to the ICC.
