BISMARCK, N.D. — Republican Gov. Doug Burgum signed a bill Monday that exempts military pay from state income taxes for active duty, National Guard and Reserve members.

Woo! Another state joins the majority! 9 states have no income tax, 11 (now 12) that don't tax it while in state, and many more that don't tax it if you aren't physically within that state.
Only 6 (Delaware, DC, Georgia, Nebraska, Rhode Island and Utah) fully tax your military pay (that goes up to 15 if you live within the state taxing you).
