This is not an ad nor an endorsement. It is merely another step in my journey to find a credible source of "news," whatever the hell that is. Once upon a time, I had a very clear idea of the difference between journalism and propaganda. Sadly, the line has been blurred and I don't trust anyone. Ground News claims that it will help me uncover bias. Isn't that cute? There is bias everywhere. Always has been. The actual problem is that there isn't enough bias.
I grew up in a community with several local news sources with competing biases (Points of views). No, I'm not counting electronic media. In those days, radio and tv "newsmen" - there weren't any women - simply read the newspapers aloud. That experience taught me to gather the news like a sculptor walking around the subject, gathering different points of view.
Honestly, I'm skeptical of Ground News. It sounds like a good concept, but I'm already detecting their bias.
