I'm not a fan of the dismissal of this being a "War", or it not having national/global implications. Do I think we need to continue sending money and arms... Maybe.
Ukraine feeds Europe. 1/3 or more of the worlds wheat is grown in Ukraine, so yes there are global implications. Ukraine has Nuclear power plants. If one gets hit, there will be a regional catastrophe, but one with global effects.
Weighing options, I think we could scale back the monetary and weaponry support, mainly because our governments primary purpose is defense of the HOMELAND, and sending billions of dollars in weaponry weakens our ability to protect the US. I don't think we should stop funding or supporting them completely, but I do think that we shouldn't have to be the only country sending arms, especially to a non-nato country.
