Former Navy SEAL Jack Carr’s book, “Targeted: The 1983 Beirut Barracks Bombing," (the first book in his new nonfiction series “Targeted”) is scheduled to be published in October of 2024 by Atria Books. Carr is teaming up with Pulitzer Prize finalist James M. Scott for this new group of books which will investigate terrorist attacks that changed the course of history.

"Those who have read my James Reece ‘Terminal List’ series or who follow me on social media know the importance I place on history, particularly the history of warfare, terrorism, insurgencies, counterinsurgencies and special operations," Carr said.

The #1 New York Times author’s current bestselling series is “Terminal List” with his sixth book, "Only the Dead," being published in May 2023. The Amazon Prime series is being adapted for television/cable with the same name, "The Terminal List," starring Chris Pratt. It has been a huge success and is being renewed for a 2nd season.
