Evolution of American Aircraft Carriers

Cool! I was a Navy Sea Cadet while in high school and after Boot Camp in 1968, I was privileged to a 2 week cruise on the USS Lexington (CVT-16), which served as the training carrier. We spent our time in the Gulf of Mexico with flight ops around the clock. While I was the contingent personnel specialist, I got time watching flight ops, watching reruns of Mission: Impossible in 35mm film projection technology. I knew how to thread and restart the “skipped” projection. Ah yes….
