Iowa war veterans who reconnected after 70 years die just 12 days apart

Last year, two Korean war veterans reunited after seven decades apart while at an assisted living facility in Iowa. Rolland Thomas and George Kelley both recently passed away 12 days apart. I thank Mr. Thomas and Mr. Kelley for their service to our country and remain inspired by their friendship initially brought forth by their service.
