How much and how long can you withstand extreme heat / cold conditions?

I remember getting hospitalized for heat stress, while on a Road Striping Crew. Yet, never having a problem in a Dish Room, while dishwashing.

True. They did that to reduce coffee wastage (lower their expenses).

I'm a wimp anymore. I used to be fine with sub-zero temperatures as well as climates >100°F routinely, but anymore ... give me my preferred climate zone and let the young bucks take the extremes.
