ANTIFA? Why bring that into the discussion? Nothing in the article indicates any political connection.
From the article:
"the officer was trying to intervene in a carjacking"

You are correct MSG Stan Hutchison, there is nothing in the article, but when the suspect was arrested, he was wearing a pull-over with an Antifa associated symbol (the crossed-out dollar sign inside a circle).

However, I did a cursory search online and didn't see any specific connection between Antifa and Miles Pfeffer mentioned in other articles. Maybe he just likes the symbol.

COL Randall C. - Thank you for the polite response, Col. I googled the crossed-out dollar sign inside a circle and found no reference to ANTIFA. I googled ANTIFA symbols and found no reference to the crossed-out dollar sign inside a circle. I would think that was closer to Marxism.

MSG Stan Hutchison - Agree (about thinking it would be closer to Marxism).

I've only seen a few mentions of the symbol being Antifa associated rather than a broad-range "Tear down Capitalism!" one. However, it doesn't appear to be anywhere near as common as their "3 arrows in a circle", "A in a circle", or "flags in a circle" symbols.

You'll always get a polite response from me. Vitriol and demeaning comments are for others. I may engage in a back-and-forth debate (usually when I feel the urge with partisan posts from the right or left), but it will always be civil.

MSG Stan Hutchison, COL Randall Cudworth - The reason I questioned Antifa is in fact because of the crossed out dollar sign on his shirt. Temple University is not know as a bastion for conservatives values. Does it really matter...not really; however, had he been wearing a Trump hat I think we all know where this would have gone.
