Several T-33 aircraft were sold to Gen. Battista's Regime in Cuba prior to Fidel Castro's takeover of that nation and his "sudden" conversion to Leninist Communism. I studied and still study history. US armaments arms were subsequently used against American interests in the Caribbean following Fidel's victory before and after the Bay of Pigs, in SE Asia following the defeat of Rep. of Vietnam by the North Vietnamese Army, and most recently by the the Taliban following our shameful abandonment of Afghanistan. With our latest adventure in Ukraine we haven't just poured billions and billions of dollars worth of weapons into a a bottomless pit, now we are sending our most advanced weapon systems.
Will anyone in charge ever learn history!
