Duh. My shop was doing that in the 80's. We reduced all scheduled maintenance to either a monthly basis or weekly basis. If a site experienced harsh weather we would visit the site to see if any degradation of equipment occurred especially cabling as it us your weakest link. This is why we had no Red Time on our search radar or IFF'S.
