FMC Chief Kemp served 33 years in the US Navy advancing to serve as Command Master Chief on the destroyer USS Mason and the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman. The Oklahoma native was selected as the CMC for the Office of Navy Inspector General, and finally the position of Fleet Master Chief US Naval Forces for Europe and Africa.
