Some would argue much of Chinese tech IS US tech. A derivative that is.

Not just China, but also Iran. One reason is that some tech (i.e. microchips, etc.) has both civilian (i.e. kitchen appliance, etc.) and military (i.e. drone) use.

Honestly (and I'm not being flip), I have never needed an expansive task force to understand how our enemies obtained our tech. They steal it via espionage, or are given the tech by our government during a lapse in common sense. A good example of this would be Bill Clinton's authorized the sale of a Loral-made satellite to China in February 1998.

The China Joe Biden task force is investigating Chinese spying? Well, that sure does put me at ease knowing that they'll get to the bottom of figuring out how Biden policies and government corruption enabled China to steal technology from us. @@
