It is a sad state of affairs when American youth cannot pass an entrance exam or a health assessment or a drug screening. We need to change our ways and real quick.

Or, the Services could make JROTC type classes more readily available in all High Schools. Maybe set up Academy style centers across the country that don't cost thousands of dollars to attend for motivated students. I went to Camden Academy in Camden SC for a while. It just cost to much to continue and a life in the military wasn't in my plans at the time.

This is sad that our prospective candidates for the Army has to have remedial help to pass and or exceed the standards for entry into the Army!
