PO1 William "Chip" Nagel you DON'T want to go to prison for killing someone... trust me.
..."Rideshare
Lyft is partnering with alcohol distributor Breakthru Beverage Missouri and Absolut Vodka to offer free rides to people in Kansas City, St. Louis, Springfield and Columbia.
“We really want to have people enjoy themselves responsibly, but just not drink and drive,” sad Melva Pete, chief human resources officer for Breakthru Beverage Missouri. “And that’s really the whole basis of it.”
You can use the code BBGMONYE2022 to get a ride for up to $30 between 2 p.m. on Dec. 31 and 2 a.m. on Jan. 1. However, there are only 2,000 rides available.
The Missouri Department of Transportation and its Show Me Zero campaign is also offering the code SMZ2022 until New Year's Day that will take $10 off of Lyft rides.
Otherwise, riders can expect both Lyft and Uber to have higher prices due to higher demand on New Year’s Eve. Taxis might be a cheaper option, but passengers will likely need to call ahead."

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel Good advice Brother Chip. I don't drink so I was the designated driver at every holiday party. I went with them to the bars and wherever. When we got pulled over it was always a riot when I told the cop I didn't drink. "Yeah, right, A Marine that doesn't drink."
