PO1 William "Chip" Nagel Thank you for sharing that conversation.
They did a good job, imo, with a purpose in mind of discussion about needed public policy to prevent malicious use of technology.
Had a difficult time listening to the person with the heavy accent in the second part.

Many issues being covered that must be recognized and dealt with - going to listen. Hopefully, they do a good job discussing the issues - hopefully suggesting solutions.
I have to say this comment is alarming because people program A.I.:
"Plus, in a new experiment, robots trained on AI repeatedly identified blocks with a Black man’s face as a “criminal.” Why is it so hard to eliminate bias in AI?"
Programming A.I. in that way is not merely "bias" it is institutionalized racism.
It suggests a more worrisome much bigger picture which make bias seem like child's play. People should have realized long ago that bias, prejudice, the ignorance of discrimination which targets any demographic will spread to target additional demographics in the same ways.
Anyone who has ever been victimized by "doctored" photos and/or I.D. theft, voice recordings, can attest to the fact it is considered intent to kill. Available technology makes those efforts more realisitic with the use of A.I. as the web of nepotistic vigilante corruption expands.
