These brave and crazy pilots were trained at Carin Airfield, near Fort Rucker. I worked there in '72&'73.

He didn't need any seat armor, not with titanium balls that size. One of the bravest men to wear wings. Just missed meeting him at the Military Museum in Boise one day. I went in to visit and they said he'd just left. A true Hero.
