You should NEVER pay someone to file an initial VA claim for you. There are NUMEROUS Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs) that will assist you with your claim for free.

There might be cases down the road where you could seek the assistance of a disability lawyer (VSOs can help in that as well), but cross that bridge if you come to it.
