We have always served proudly but up till recently it was via the closet. One of these days these so called veterans and active duty folks will realize that we have been fighting and dying for this country since day one. That is my hope but the stark reality of it is it won't happen.

Transgender people have been serving in the military for as long as there has been one. The major issue isn't transgender personnel it is transphobic ones who refuse to accept anything they don't like. It doesn't matter if someone is trans, gay, lesbian or anything else they can apply a bandage to a dying person all the same. I am proud to finally be who I am in the service and I will defend My rights to live my life and have my pursuit of happiness.
These transphobic and homophobic people like to use the word "woke" as an insult but I find it funny because they are insulting people for being enlightened. Which if anyone reading didn't know it means "having or showing a rational, modern, and well-informed outlook." The biggest argument that is had is transphobic people say we have a right not to see you... that is wrong you have a right to live life your way and let me live how I want to be and not take away my rights because you don't like them.
