Bring up a piece of Baseball History and remembering those great players that only due to race were barred from playing in the major Leagues. Baseball overall lost a lot by not having many of the great Negro League players in the major League lineup. I was wondering as that being the Kansas City Monarchs was the the basis for the major league team being called the Kansas City Royals ? Not a statement just a question. It seems somehow other reasons with the cattle industry is said to reflect that name but I don't see it and what I ask seems to make more sense to Me than what they seem to say.
