Water crisis once again disrupts Hawaii military families’ lives

I'm sure the families and Soldiers are tired of these disruptions. Have any of you experienced issues like this where you were stationed? When I was stationed at Fairchild AFB, there was a debacle related to the PFOA/PFOS chemicals from firefighting foam contaminating the water. Some coined it as an environmental and health disaster.

We humans are foolish. We pollute land, air, sea. We kill off animal species or make them endangered. We are running some major rivers dry. We humans are not prudent and will take risks out of convenience. However, there is irony. Tourists kill many important sites. We also kill each other. Perhaps that is poetic justice.
