This article is taken from the Republican Watch, so this narrative can be lopsided, ofcourse. Keep in mind that even without the Keystone XL pipeline project and other domestic energy programs, the U.S. has in excess of 20 years worth of energy resources in reserves. For the President to beg Saudi Arabia to increase production for domestic consumption doesn't seem right; however, asking Saudi Arabia to increase production of oil and gas for NATO countries, whose reliance on Russia for energy, can stay warm this winter with energy supply from Saudi Arabia and the U.S. The Republicans won't comprehend this goodwill gesture from a Democrat in the WH, especially Joe Biden whom the Republicans call "Sleepy Joe". The GOP should support President Biden for his term in office, at the bare minimum.
