I'm saying...it wasn't a camp for therapy...it was life and it was hard work...you were too tired to get into any trouble...Guess what, we didn't have the problems then with teens we have now. And I love Gomez's comments about religion....just shows his ignorance...our nation was much better off when God, not religion, was the center of our lives. Our troubles started when we started taking God out of everything...and saying everything is ok as long as it is good to you...this nation lost it's moral compass and one day God is going to have enough
--- You all need to stop with this idealized version of your childhood. Yes you had plenty of teenagers who got into trouble "back in the day." FFS Boomers are the most entitled generation that exists.
When has the Abrahamic god been removed from ANYTHING? LOL it's still on our money. Politicians think we're a theocracy and keep passing legislation based on Christianity. No, your god is still present EVERYWHERE despite the fact we are not a theocracy and there are other religions practiced in this country which Christians violate THEIR religious freedoms daily with this insane laws.
If you need a deity to have a moral compass, you have bigger issues.

Oh no! Hard work? Carrying hay bales? Damn, that was just summer when I was growing up
--- Branding people with crosses and tying them to goats is not "hard work." Also: "Desperate parents paid $6,000 a month to send their children to the Christian therapeutic program at a working ranch in a remote area of Wyoming, often without visiting first." 6 THOUSAND dollars a month for this?
"Down the road from Trinity Teen Solutions, which serves girls, sits Triangle Cross Ranch, a program for boys run by the same family that has also long been accused of forcing children to perform manual labor. The state has confirmed numerous regulatory violations over several years, finding that the ranch made teens box each other as punishment and tried to interfere with government investigations. One former Triangle Cross Ranch resident said staff members branded his arm in the shape of a cross in 2012, leaving a lasting scar. "
What the hell does that teach kids? Hell you probably think conversion "therapy" camps are good too.
