Air Force Pay Cuts Looming Next Month for Airmen in the Service's Toughest Jobs

Maj Robert Thornton With all the money Congress wastes on other programs and they want to cut the pay of our military personnel. How about cutting the budget of crap grants like studying cow farts and duck penises. (These were two of the grants I remember for sure that are a total waste of money)

Some of those jobs definitely deserve the pay,
Para Rescue, Combat Controllers, etc
But others???
BMT Instructor?
Flight Attendent?
First Sgt? (It was am Additional Duty, Part time First Sgt when ours was on leave or TDY)
Air Traffic Control Supervisors? (I was one, by the time you are a Supervisor it gets easier)
Public Affairs? (Again one of the jobs I had as an Additional Duty)

How about the Generals and civilian leadership volunteer to take the pay cuts so their troops can keep their pay?
Don't see that happening....
