CPT Gurinder (Gene) Rana - That was good thinking on our part. And just to make sure they didn't fly the planes or drive the Humvees, we let the air out of all the tires. That sure showed 'em.
Sgt Lee, you do realize that the Taliban was in control of Kabul when we left, right? There was no Afghan military for us to leave this stuff to, right? They either surrendered or deserted. Understand?? Who exactly were we leaving it for?
I'd give you a longer response, Charlie, but you've blocked discussions you don't like.

CPT Gurinder (Gene) Rana - I was being facetious, Gene. Flattening the tires wasn't even a speed bump. Just a minor inconvenience, if that.

Sgt (Join to see), you bet. How could we have immobilized our equipment left behind, so ultra elements would need us to operate them; any idea Dave?

CPT Gurinder (Gene) Rana - Well, since not leaving them in the first place was not an option for the DOD, a thermite grenade always works. I carried them in my Humvee to thermite our comms and BFT if need be. (I wonder how many thermite grenades we left sitting there).
If you can't take it with you, blow it in place.
