I just wanna know what does restricted ground means? I thought the house of Congress is the Peoples House. Before this administration it was open to all Americans who wanted to visit. Now it has a wall around it. Even our border doesn't have a wall. The article says riot. But I say ( as many others do) a riot looks more like what happened during the 2020 summer in many places in our nation. Where reporters stood before the camera and said it was just a simple protest, while in the background buildings were burning and other places being looted. Costing millions of dollars in damage. People were being beaten and killed by those so called protesters.
I do believe you should re-assess what you perceive. Because what you are posting is certainly not reality to many other Americans, it’s propaganda. It’s saying don’t mess with the Left and questioning the media is verboten!

Are you trying to say you think Jan 6 was just a regular tour visit? I mean...I've visited the Capitol and definitely didn't see people trying to stop a constitutional process because they didn't like the results. Also people are still allowed to visit the Capitol. I'm not sure where you got that they can't. I just went to the US Capitol website - and they still offer tours. So not sure why you say "this administration" has stopped allowing people to visit. I always heard the White House referred to as the People's House though.
93% of protests in 2020 were peaceful. Of those that turned violent, those were caused by outside agitators or police escalating peaceful protests into violence with their tactics. In no way was any of that comparable to Jan 6. Jan 6 was an attempted insurrection...called for by Trump. You can deny it all you want but he instigated it. He sat there and watched with glee and he even encouraged the calls for people to try to go after Mike Pence. People built gallows to hang the Vice President...c'mon. That's more than a "riot." I'm still also waiting to see proof of "cities burned to the ground" in 2020.
