This when they really created music. not like music today where you cannot understand the lyrics and or rap, which tends to be repetitive

I used to see American Bandstand before Soul Train.

Quite an assortment of music from the 1960s and actually We never missed watching Dick Clark with American Bandstand in that time period. Watching even the dancing and remembering Record Hops that We went to ourselves as teenagers sometimes even with radio station DJs turning the records.

SPC Gary C. - I did also and had a bunch of the 45 RPM records by Chubby Checker. Of course at record hops We went to that was played and We did the twist to it. A few other 45 RPM record with the twist were Same Cooke, and don't forget Joy Dee and the Starlighter's. I still have a bunch of those records also in 45 RPM singles.

SPC Gary C. - Yes, I do and still have 45 RPM records in the same old carrying case like a lot of people used to use. My 45 RPM records are all still al in excellent condition as well .
