Never heard of invasive bass -- we got the dreaded snakehead here -- messing with the eco system for sure. Bass are better eats though.

CSM Chuck Stafford I Grew Up Bass Fishing, My Grandfathers would "Kidnap" Me and Take Me Fishing with them. Hard to Imagine, My Favorite Game Fish are Considered Invasive where My Grandchildren Live.

This method sounds horrible, but the ODFW says it doesn't hurt the fish. I guess it is necessary to save the salmon...but what happens to the salmon at salmon farms is horrible!
