Summary:
The Account Manager supports the HVAC Service Manager in generating revenue and client retention for the service business. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with assigned customers while operating as primary point of contact for all matters specific to those accounts. This includes but not be limited to overseeing account management, quoting work and ongoing communication coordination. Also responsible for estimating and quoting work as assigned by Service Manager.
Responsibilities:
Focus on client retention. Maintain customer satisfaction by providing efficient and courteous service, and frequent site visitations for assigned accounts
Act as a liaison between the client and internal departments
Identify pull-through work. Quote, present and oversee the execution of the work
Generate customer quotes for HVAC repair and replacements including quotes for any subcontractors. Complete all subcontract paperwork
Review scope of work for all quoted work with technician for proper execution and margin generation
Estimate and order needed equipment, materials and supplies
Project Manage work as needed; Keep customer informed on status
Communicate directly with customers, vendors and suppliers to ensure effective & quality of work Attend site walkthroughs with the sales team. Provide technical assistance for proposal and estimate development
Perform customer relations tasks for assigned accounts
Participate in investigating and resolving semi-complex problems that arise in the general course of doing business
Qualifications & Training:
Five years HVAC Service related experience with ability to quote repairs and replacements
Excellent customer service skills. Clean, neat and professional appearance
Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and background
Good computer skills: knowledge of and proficiency in common office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and general software
