I ran Telehealth for WBAMC as my last assignment and it was difficult to get off the ground. First you had to change how people received their healthcare and then get past many rules and regulations. One group would want to use the app of their choice but it would not meet DOD security requirements. That alone shut many down. COVID eased many of these rules but still people had their favorites and would not change. Even though I ran the program, as an ER and ICU RN, so much of my assessment is done from the doorway looking in and we will need to adapt these assessment skills to adjust to how healthcare is moving.

does the devices come with restrictions of "For official use only" or does it only have the apps to use for these virtual meetings? What else are these ipads good for if only for virtual meetings? maybe this is why the users don't use them?
