The Uyghurs of the Xinjiang Province in China is an old ethnic group who came from eastern Turkistan across to the steppes of Mongolia in the expansion or great movement of the Russian Empire and the Turkic people. This ethnic group is predominantly Muslim and the migration brought about a fresh flavor of music, dance and other cultural exchanges. The Uyghurs have been around since the sixth century.
Today, through the hacked files of the Xinjiang Police, we evidence the attempt by the Central Communist Party of China to exterminate an ancient ethnic group in violation of human rights and by imprisoning these people in internment camps. This is nothing less than ethnic cleansing by China. Ages of the youngest incarcerated Uighur is 15 years old and the oldest is 73.
