This is a sad tragedy. I wonder what happened. I'm sure the military police are going to have their hands full working with local authorities. I just hope that drugs or alcohol wasn't a factor. You wonder why he didn't have a battle buddy?
RIP.
RIP.

It didn't give much details, it's unsure whether or not this would be considered in the line of duty (LOD) accident or not. If he was just there on a temporary basis, it's not likely he'd be given a pass or allowed to drive a rental vehicle by his Command. Sounds like it may be impaired driving that happened at 1230am, but not sure.

All Servicemember deaths require an investigation, a 15-6. So, the Army will work to find out the truth about what happened in this case. It's not likely that any of this info gained from the investigation will be made public, We'll likely not find out anything beyond what already been published.

If he stayed where i stayed theres nothing in that town. He would've had to be on pass in Vilnius (main city) to rent a car and have an international drivers license. So many questions.
