There goes my faith in elections… it’s along the lines of electing Republicans who don’t like government to govern.

Voting Laws Roundup: May 2021
States have already enacted more than 20 laws this year that will make it harder for Americans to vote — and many legislatures are still in session.
PUBLISHED: May 28, 2021
*** UPDATE :
As of June 21, 17 states enacted 28 new laws that restrict access to the vote. With some state legislatures still in session, more laws will certainly follow, which we will track in the next roundup later this year.
The restrictive laws from 2011 were enacted after the 2010 elections brought a significant shift in political control over statehouses — and as the country confronted backlash to the election of its first Black president. Today’s attacks on the vote come from similar sources: the racist voter fraud allegations behind the Big Lie and a desire to prevent future elections from achieving the historic turnout seen in 2020.

Never forget who and what they are.
1.) House Republicans All Vote Against Neo-Nazi Probe of Military, Police
BY EWAN PALMER ON 7/14/22 AT 6:28 AM EDT
“The House has approved an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act to compel government officials to prepare a report on combating white supremacists and neo-Nazi activity in the police and military, despite every Republican voting against the measure”
“The amendment, sponsored by Rep. Brad Schneider, was passed in a 218-208 party-line vote on Wednesday.
All 208 votes against the amendment came from House Republicans, one of whom described it as "Orwellian."
The "Schneider Amendment" called for the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Secretary of Defense to publish a report that sets out ways to combat white supremacist and neo-Nazi activity in the uniformed services and law enforcement agencies "not later than 180 days after enactment and every 6 months thereafter."

2.) Every Single House Republican Voted Against Investigating Neo-Nazis in the Military
The amendment still passed, but the vote shows how a genuine national security threat has been turned into partisan football.

3.) House Republicans Vote Against Fighting Nazis in U.S. Military and Law Enforcement
“The House Approves Bill to Monitor White Supremacy
