Things got very heated yesterday following the Senate vote that blocked the Honoring Our PACT Act on Wednesday. I spoke (at 25:40) alongside all the national veterans and military organizations, Congressional leaders, former VA Secretary Shulkin, and Jon Stewart at the Capitol yesterday. The bill will provide benefits to approximately 3.5 million veterans. Another vote is expected Monday and organizations will continue to press the no votes. 41 GOP Senators voted against the bill, 25 of which voted for the same bill when it passed the Senate a month prior.
