Each of those countries would do well to update their inventories to more available capabilities. For years we kept pushing and trying to sustain the MI-17s in Afghanistan vs finding another option. Eventually at the very tail end, Blackhawks were introduced, only to be handed to the Taliban in the end. Still our insistence on pushing the Soviet era platforms, using Czech maintainers, while teaching them US maintenance standards did not go over well. It impeded progress in the development and maturity of the AAF, ultimately enabling the failure of the Afghan military & government when the US pulled out.
